Magikarp is one of my favourite Pokemon - just a silly little floppy fish. This gijinka is a very basic original design, inspired by the hat that James bought me while we were in Japan in early 2020.
Self-portrait
My simplest cosplay to date, this version of Magikarp is three things - a hat from Don Quijote, a wig bought for a different cosplay that never eventuated, and a cheap swimsuit bought online. Oh, and a Pokeball that James found in an op shop!

Since this is such a simple cosplay, as my debut I decided to do a little self-portrait shoot and do some quirky edits. Not much more to say about this, except that it was fun!
