The school uniform for the students of the fictional Otonokizaka High School from the original Love Live is very cute and very classic - in other words, perfect! Technically there are two versions - one with the vest only and another with a blazer on top - but as an Aussie I'm all about less layers and haven’t worn the blazer once.

As a purchased cosplay there's not too much to say. I did alter the waist on my skirt to make it fit better and the white shirt was bought at an op shop. I also ended up with multiple different neck bows so technically I could use this cosplay for any of the μ's girls!

In that latest shoot, I also took a behind the scenes video for YouTube. It was one of my first BTS videos, so it's a bit haphazard, but I was happy that Kirra and James were both on board with our quirks being broadcast to the world.
A different friend, a different time, the same cosplay. This was a fun, casual backyard shoot with my friend Kirra.

A while later, with Kawaii Republic, this costume came out again. It may not be obvious but the location for this is a miniature train yard!

Inside the convention itself we did a group shoot on the venue rooftop - a popular place with photographers and cosplayers.

Shining Bright attended the Idol Meetup organised outside of Madman. This was my first event of this kind and it was heaps of fun. I loved how encouraging all the performers were of each other - the biggest cheers and applause always came out in support for a fumbled move or costume malfunction.

The day of Madman Anime Festival 2019 was a very busy one. For James and I, it started with a photoshoot on the way from our accommodation to the event venue. These are still some of my favourite photos of this cosplay.

I first wore this video when Shining Bright filmed a cover of START:DASH!! as an audition tape. It was an exciting and mildly terrifying experience.
